ELGIN, Ill. (STMW) – A car ended up flipped over in the drive-through lane at a KFC restaurant Saturday afternoon in northwest suburban Elgin.
The car was coming out of the adjacent McDonald’s parking lot and collided with a pickup truck heading north on Gifford Street, sending it into the KFC drive-through at 465 Dundee Ave., authorities said.
The car flipped when it hit a boulder, authorities said. Two people were taken to Sherman Hospital, but their conditions were not immediately available.
