D.J. Moore Signs With Panthers

(CBS) Roughly one week after he was told he wasn't in the Bears' future plans, nickle back D.J. Moore has signed with the Panthers.

The deal is for one year, the Tribune reports.

Moore, a 2009 draft pick, became expendable to the Bears after he lost his starting spot to Kelvin Hayden midway through the 2012 season.

In 45 games for the Bears, Moore recorded 10 interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns.
