Teen Boy Shot On South Side

CHICAGO (STMW) — A teenage boy was shot Sunday afternoon in the South Side McKinley Park neighborhood.

The boy was shot in the buttocks at 12:56 p.m. in the 2100 block of West 37th Street, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.

The 14-year-old boy was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Juan Hernandez said.

No one in custody and Area Central detectives are investigating.
