(CBS) Linebacker Manti Te’o slightly improved his 40-time Tuesday at Notre Dame’s Pro Day.
Numerous Twitter reports from the Pro Day had Te’o running somewhere between 4.71 and 4.78, which is better than the 4.81 he ran at the NFL Combine last month.
Notre Dame clocked Te’o at 4.69, according to a release the school sent out.
The Bears were represented by assistant director of college scouting Jeff Shiver in South Bend, Ind. Tuesday, according to the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs.
