Man Killed In Niles Crash
NILES, Ill. (STMW) -- A man was killed in a crash in north suburban Niles early Saturday.
The crash happened about 2 a.m. when a vehicle struck a fixed object in the 8100 block of North Caldwell Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
The 36-year-old man driving, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was dead at the scene, according to a medical examiner's office spokeswoman, who declined to release his identity pending notification of relatives.
Niles police were not immediately available for comment.
