Man Wounded In Chatham Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was injured in a shooting in the South Side Chatham neighborhood Saturday night.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was shot in the stomach about 10:40 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Eberhart Avenue, police said.

He was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in “stable” condition, police said.

No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
