CHICAGO (STMW) – Two men were injured in shootings in the West Side Austin neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

A 22-year-old man was shot three times on the 4800 block of West Thomas Street at about 5:45 p.m., police said. He was shot in the back, upper thigh and groin, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, police said.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the left leg just after 4 p.m. on the 1000 block of North Waller Avenue in the Austin neighborhood, authorities said.
