Noah Suffered 'Setback' In Sunday's Return

(CBS) Joakim Noah's return to the court may have been short-lived.

The Bulls center played 22 minutes in Sunday night's loss to the Pistons after missing eight games with plantar fasciitis in his right foot. Unfortunately, it looks like Noah will be back on the bench Tuesday when the Bulls host the Toronto Raptors.

Head coach Tom Thibodeau said at Monday's practice that Noah suffered "a little bit of a setback."

"It's a tough one," Thibodeau said, according to The Chicago Tribune. "You never really know with that type of injury."

Noah wasn't ruled out for Tuesday's game, but it would be surprising if he plays.

His treatment has included platelet-rich plasma therapy, the newspaper reported. The center battled the same condition in his left foot two years ago.
