White Sox Pitching Coach Don Cooper Hospitalized With Stomach Problems

(CBS) According to multiple reports on Twitter, White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper has been hospitalized with diverticulitis.

The Tribune's Mark Gonzales called Cooper's status "day-to-day."

Bullpen coach Bobby Thigpen will fill in for Cooper, with bullpen catcher Mark Salas manning the 'pen.

Cooper's hospitalization comes on the same day Brewers manager Ron Roenicke was hospitalized with back stiffness.
