Amber Alert Cancelled After Missing Girl Found In Indiana

(CBS) -- An amber alert out of Texas that had a connection to Chicago has been cancelled, after a girl and her non-custodial mother were found, reports WBBM's Michele Fiore.

Signs along Chicago-area expressways this morning asked drivers to be on the lookout for a gray Ford Expedition. Just within the last hour, FBI in Indiana found it.

A spokeswoman from the FBI just spoke with WBBM and says the mother, 43-year-old Lisa Elizabeth Brown is now being processed at the Hamilton County Jail, just outside Indianapolis.

A lieutenant at the jail describes Brown's demeanor as calm. She's in a holding cell right now, and facing charges out of Texas. Police in Cedar Hill thought the two had been headed for Chicago where Brown has family or friends. And the girl, 12-year-old Sommer Brown.
