Darien Triple Murder Case To Be 1st Chicago Area Trial With Camera In Court

WHEATON, Ill. (AP) -- Jury selection has started at the first trial in the Chicago area to allow cameras in court during testimony and through to a verdict.

The trial started Tuesday in a DuPage County court for a man accused of instigating the murder of three members of a suburban family. Cameras won't be permitted until attorneys make their opening statements.

Johnny Borizov is accused of talking a friend into killing Jeffrey and Lori Kramer and their 20-year-old son, Michael, in their Darien home in 2010. The Kramers' daughter was Borizov's ex-girlfriend.

Prosecutors' spokesman Paul Darrah says there will be one video and one still camera in the courtroom. Shots can't be taken of jurors.

The video camera is locked in place so it can't inadvertently swing toward jurors.
