Marquette's Blue Declares For NBA Draft

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Marquette junior guard Vander Blue says he will skip his final season of eligibility and submit his name for the NBA draft.

Blue ends his three years at Marquette with 80 starts in 106 appearances. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 9.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game. The Madison native finishes at Marquette with 982 points.

Blue thanked his coaches and staff at Marquette for helping him become a better player and man. He earned All-Big East second team honors in the 2012-2013 season.
