Five Injured In Four-Vehicle Crash Near Palos Hills
PALOS HILLS, Ill. (CBS) -- Five people were injured Sunday during a four-vehicle crash near southwest suburban Palos Hills.
The four-vehicle crash occurred about 10:30 a.m. on South LaGrange Road near the Dan McMahon Woods Forest Preserve in unincorporated Cook County, according to the North Palos Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Rocky Carlson.
The victims were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, Carlson said. Three people were seriously injured and two others suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash was unclear but Carlson described the accident as "bumper to bumper.
