Report: Charges Dropped Against Bears TE Evan Rodriguez

(CBS) — All charges have been dropped against Bears tight end Evan Rodriguez after he was arrested last month in Miami, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.

Rodriguez was arrested on March 20 and initially charged with disorderly intoxication charges and resisting a police officer during an altercation at 6th Street and Alton Road in Miami Beach.

The 6-6, 240 pound Rodriguez, who is entering his second year, saw limited action for the Bears last season, with four receptions for 21 yards.

He was drafted by the Bears in the fourth round in 2012.
