CHICAGO (CBS) — A former Deerfield man is now facing 47 years in prison in connection with the murder of a Vernon Hills woman three years ago.
The Daily Herald reports 24-year old Daniel Baker was sentenced yesterday after being found guilty last year in the death of 50-year old Marina Aksman in her home.
Prosecutors said Baker became enraged with Aksman and beat her with a baseball bat after she tried to end his relationship with her daughter.
