School Monitor Sentenced For Stalking Girl, 8
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 53-year-old Streamwood man has been sentenced to two years in prison for stalking an 8-year-old girl.

Peter Surges worked as a monitor in the girl's school.
Prosecutors say that he started sending the girl notes--40 or 50 in all--beginning in 2010.
He wrote that he loved her and that her body was sexy.
The Daily Herald reports, Surges created a Facebook page in the girl's name.
According to prosecutors, he once appeared in the girl's bedroom window and told her to keep the blinds closed when she dressed.
Asked if he wanted to make a statement at his sentencing, Surges said he loved his family.
The girl's father said justice was done.
