3 Shot In Weekend Violence
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three people have been shot on the South and West sides of Chicago this weekend.
The most recent shooting happened about 3 a.m. Sunday when a man was shot multiple times after he got out of his car to run away from a gunman in the 1100 block of West 87th Street, police said.
The 31-year-old man was struck in the wrist, hand and buttocks and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in "stable" condition, police said.
About 10:30 p.m. Saturday, a woman was shot near South Kedzie and West 60th Street in the Southwest Side Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
The 40-year-old woman was shot in the arm and hospitalized in "stable" condition, police said.
About 1:30 p.m. Saturday, a man was shot in the arm in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. The 22-year-old man was shot near West Augusta Boulevard and North Pulaski Road, police said, and he was taken to Norwegian-American Hospital in good condition.
No one was in custody for the shootings Sunday morning.
