Man Seriously Wounded In Calumet Heights Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man is in serious condition after he was shot in the chest in the Calumet Heights neighborhood on the South Side Tuesday evening.
The man, 21, was shot in the chest about 6:15 p.m. in the 8900 block of South Phillips Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss said.
He is not listed in serious condition at Advocate Trinity Hospital, Purkiss said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
