Man Killed In South Shore Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot and killed Sunday night in the South Shore neighborhood.

Police found him unresponsive in the 2800 block of East 76th Street about 3:30 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

The man, in his 20s, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body, Greer said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:55 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. He remains unidentified early Sunday.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
