Noah Named To All-Defensive First Team

(CBS) The accolades keep coming for Joakim Noah.

Before the start of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Bulls and Heat, the All-Star center was named to the NBA's All-Defensive first team.

This marks the first time a Bulls defender has won this honor since Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen did so during the 1997-98 season.

Noah tied Tyson Chandler for the center position.

Noah and Chandler are joined by Tony Allen, LeBron James, Serge Ibaka and Chris Paul on the first team.

Ironically, Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol was voted to the second team.
