Kane Named Lady Byng Memorial Trophy Finalist
(CBS) The NHL today announced Patrick Kane was a finalist for the 2013 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, given to the player to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability.
Matt Moulson of the New York Islanders and Martin St. Louis of the Tampa Bay Lightning were also named finalists.
The 24-year-old Kane ranked fifth in the NHL with a team-high 55 points (23 goals, 32 assists) in 47 regular-season games this season. He ranked fifth in the NHL in goals and seventh in power play goals with eight, while posting a plus-11 rating.
