Police: Man Touches Woman's Leg At South Loop CTA Station

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are looking for man who inappropriately touched a woman at a South Loop CTA station Tuesday morning.

The 41-year-old woman was riding the escalator to the Orange Line platform at 50 E. Roosevelt Rd. when a man approached from behind and "placed his hand on her leg," according to an alert from Area Central detectives.

The suspect is described as a 20- to 30-year-old Asian man with a medium build and short black hair, police said. He wore glasses, blue jeans and carried a backpack.

The man, who spoke broken English with an accent, is wanted for battery, police said.
