Bears Fullback Evan Rodriguez Ticketed For DUI

(CBS) Chicago Bears fullback Evan Rodriguez was ticketed for driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane usage early Friday morning, according to the Illinois State Police.

Rodriguez was pulled over on I-90 at Hubbard at approximately 3:30 a.m. Friday.

"We are aware of the reports regarding Evan Rodriguez," the Bears said in a team statement. "We are currently gathering information to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the situation."

This is Rodriguez's second off-the-field incident of the offseason after he was arrested in March in Miami for resisting an officer. Charges were later dropped in that case.
