CHICAGO (STMW) — The body of a man was found, apparently beaten to death, in an apartment in the South Side Park Manor neighborhood Monday afternoon, according to police.
The victim, in his 30s, was discovered by his roommate at 12:12 p.m. in a first-floor apartment in the 6800 block of South King Drive, police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said.
He apparently suffered blunt force trauma to the head, Mirabelli said.
No one is in custody and Area Central detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
