2 Injured In Beverly Car Explosion
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago Fire Department says two men were critically burned as they worked on a car this afternoon in the Beverly neighborhood.
It happened at 108th and Drew, close to the Beverly-Morgan Park line.
The fire department says a 46-year-old man received 3rd degree burns to 60 percent of his body - on his upper chest and face. He's in critical condition.
And a 56-year-old man received 3rd degree burns to 40 percent of his body - on his chest, face and arms. He's stable.
The fire department says the men were working on a car - and the fuel tank ignited.
