WILMETTE, Ill. (CBS) – Police were looking into new leads in the investigation of the murder of a 20-year-old man from Highland Park.

A source told WBBM Newsradio’s Steve Miller the 2002 Dodge Stratus that Colin Nutter was driving the day he was shot and killed has been found in Chicago.

The source also said investigators were looking at Nutter’s young associates as they zero in on suspects.

Nutter’s body was found Monday night in Wilmette, on a frontage road near the Edens Expressway.

It was the first murder in Wilmette since 2010.

Nutter’s family home was burglarized a month ago, and three young people were charged in the case

It’s not clear what – if anything – that had to do with the murder.
