Two Shot Near Convenience Store In Uptown

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two people were shot Monday afternoon in Uptown.
It happened around 3:20 p.m. at Sheridan and Lawrence in front of a JJ Peppers convenience store, 4800 N. Sheridan Road.
The injuries do not appear life-threatening.
One suspect is in custody.
Police are looking for a second person near Castlewood and Marine Drive.
CBS 2's Pam Jones reports, the glass door at the Cricket Wireless store nearby is shattered, possibly from bullets.
Police say a 20-year-old male black was shot in the leg, and a 21-year-old black female was shot in leg and shoulder. Both were taken to Illinois Masonic in stable condition.
Shell casings were seen outside the store and in the strip mall's parking lot.
