2 chicken breasts diced
1/4 cup apple juice
1/3 cup green pepper medium diced
1 cup mushrooms sliced
2 clove garlic creamed
1/4 teaspoon of ginger
3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper,
1/3 cup of light brown sugar
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/3 cup soy sauce.
Season the chicken w/ salt pepper and garlic. Let it cook all the way through and set aside.
Next, Mix all the above ingredients, in one pan and it will thicken slightly. Prepare 1 cup rice.
Lay the Chicken over the rice and finish by adding the sauce on top.
Braised Short Ribs over linguini tossed w/ Olive oil and basil
4 Short Ribs
teaspoon of salt
teaspoon of black pepper
2 teaspoons of garlic
1 cup of your favorite linguini
Rub: Mix together the ingredients above and rub on short ribs. Place in oven for about 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hours until fork tender.
Then take the juices from the short ribs, in a seperate pan use a quater of a stick of butter, 2 table spoons of flour, fry flour till just browning, then add the liquid fron the short ribs. Let it reduce till it thickins. Season w/ a teaspoon of salt teaspoon of peper. Then put the short ribs in them. make into gravy Place the short ribs on top of linguini.
