Teenage Boy Shot In Pullman

CHICAGO (STMW) — A teenage boy was shot Monday afternoon in the South Side Pullman neighborhood.

The 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg at 2:45 p.m. in the 200 block of West 118th Street, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.

He was taken in “stable” condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Juan Hernandez.

Area South detectives are investigating.
