1 Dead, 2 Wounded In South Chicago Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man is dead and two others were wounded during a shooting Saturday in the South Chicago neighborhood.

The shooting occurred at 4:30 p.m. in the 8600 block of South Kingston Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said.

The three victims were shot in the wrist, thigh and head, respectively, O'Brien said.

One man was dead at the scene and two others were taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to Fire Media Affairs.

Area South detectives are investigating.
