(CBS) Someway, somehow Jim Belushi wedged himself into the spotlight of the Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup Final celebration.
After the Hawks defeated the Bruins 3-2 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, Belushi made his way down to the ice at the TD Garden in Boston to celebrate with the players.
Belushi was seen snapping pictures and hoisting Lord Stanley’s Cup as he donned a Blackhawks championship t-shirt and hat.
This did not sit well in the eyes of some of the Blackhawks faithful…
Check out what Twitter had to say last night as Belushi hung with the Hawks:

My hope is that seconds after Jim Belushi hoisted the Cup over his head, Phil Pritchard repeatedly hit him with the tazer.—

Jim Belushi hoisting the cup is worse than Snooki saving a game for the Yankees. Terrible: twitter.com/timbaffoe/stat…—

You know, if any #Bruins fans want to send Jim Belushi over a railing, we're cool with that over here.—

As a Chicagoan, I hate that Jim Belushi represents our city at sporting events. As if John Cusack wasn't bad enough, we've got this asshat.—

Yeah, I'm not even a big hockey fan and I know that it's a bad thing having Jim Belushi hoist the cup on the ice.—
