CHICAGO (CBS) — A Chicago police officer was hurt Tuesday night, when his squad car was involved in a crash with a garbage truck in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

Police said, around 9:15 p.m., a police officer was driving a Ford Crown Victoria police cruiser when he collided with a city garbage truck at the intersection of 43rd Street and Ashland Avenue.
