Twin Sisters Missing From Southwest Side

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are searching for twin sisters who went missing from the Southwest Side Thursday.

Ciara and Tiara Johnson, both 9 years old, were last seen in the 3600 block of West 79th Street Thursday, police said in an alert issued Friday.

Both girls are described as black, standing 4-foot tall and weighing 80 pounds. Both have black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion.

They were both wearing white t-shirts and pink pants, but neither girl was wearing shoes, police said.

They were last seen with their aunt, Matilda Johnson, and her 9-year-old son. Family members said Matilda had been "acting a little paranoid lately," according to police.

Anyone with information of the girls' whereabouts is asked to call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
