Man Killed In West Pullman Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death early Saturday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the South Side.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the head and chest about 4 a.m. in the 100 block of West 116th Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The man was standing in a group of people on the sidewalk when an unidentified male fired from across the street, Alfaro said. The shooter then fled in a light-colored sedan.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed the fatality Saturday morning.
