Pedestrian Hurt After Being Struck By Taxi At O’Hare

CHICAGO (CBS) — A person in front of American Airlines Terminal 3 at O’Hare International Airport was struck by a taxicab Tuesday evening.

n eyewitness and Aviation Department spokesperson Karen Pride said that the pedestrian was struck by a Flash Cab. The accident occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on the arrivals level of the airport.

Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said that paramedics transported the victim in serious condition to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Police did not immediately have details of the accident, nor was it known immediately what the person was doing at the airport.
