Blackhawks Re-Sign Handzus, Rozsival

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Blackhawks are bringing back two key veteran free agents from their Stanley Cup championship team.

The Hawks agreed to a two-year deal with defenseman Michael Rozsival and a one-year deal with forward Michal Handzus.

Rozsival had 12 assists in 27 games in the regular season, and added four assists in 23 Stanley Cup Playoff games, including two assists in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Bruins.

Handzus, who was picked up in a trade with the Sharks on April 1, had one goal and five assists in 11 games for the Blackhawks in the regular season, and stepped up his game with three goals and eight assists in 23 playoff games, including a short-handed goal against the Bruins in Game 4.
