Nugent Gets Chicago Murder Numbers Wrong, Calls Stevie Wonder 'Brain Dead'

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Ted Nugent's most recent rant may leave you wondering if "crazy" is a symptom of "Cat Scratch Fever."

While doing an interview with WXBR 1460 AM Brockton, MA, Ted Nugent had more than a few things to say about Stevie Wonder's recent boycott of Florida over the George Zimmerman verdict.

And very little of it was nice.

At one point, Nugent incorrectly cited murders in Chicago while talking about Stevie, saying, "You've got to be kidding me. So 700 black people, mostly young children and young people were slaughtered in Chicago last year by black people, and not a peep out of Stevie Wonder. Are you kidding me? What is this, 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'? How brain dead do you have to be?"

If you were wondering, there were 506 homicides in Chicago in 2012, and not all of the victims were black.
