9 Hurt In CTA Bus Crash In Wicker Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Nine people were hurt late Wednesday morning, when a CTA bus and a pickup truck crashed in the Wicker Park neighborhood.
Police said the bus and pickup crashed around 10:40 a.m. at the intersection of Western Avenue and Lemoyne Street.
Nine people on the bus were taken to hospitals, but none of the injuries was considered life-threatening.
Police were investigating the cause of the crash, but said the pickup truck driver would be given unspecified traffic tickets.
