Hobart Corn Maze Honors Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks

HOBART, Ind. (CBS) -- The Blackhawks are being celebrated in corn on a farm in northwest Indiana.

County Line Orchard in Hobart is going with a Blackhawks theme for this year's corn maze.

Owner Ryan Richardson is a big Hawks fan, and says the decision for the theme was an easy one.

"Yeah, the big maze is about 15 acres, and this one we went all in on the Blackhawks this year," he said.

Corn Maze Honors Blackhawks

There's Patrick Kane -- acres of him -- and the Stanley Cup, along with the words, "Blackhawks 2013 Champs" carved into the corn.

It's one of two Blackhawks-themed corn mazes at the Orchard.

The design is created on a computer, and then mowed into the corn.

Richardson says they'd love to see the Stanley Cup pay a visit.

The maze opens September 3rd, and the apples -- 45 varieties on 50 acres -- will be ready.
