(STMW) — A woman has been charged with fatally stabbing a south suburban man during a domestic incident Thursday in the Rogers Park neighborhood.

Dezarai Gardner, 18, of the 2000 block of West Jarvis, was charged with one count of first-degree murder in the connection with the death of 35-year-old Anthony Price, police said.

Price, of the 200 block of East 140th Street in Dolton, was stabbed in the chest about 1:30 p.m. in the 7300 block of North Seeley Avenue, authorities said.

He was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston at 3:10 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Gardner is the daughter of Price’s girlfriend, according to a police source.

Gardner is expected to appear Saturday in bond court.
