Man Shot, Seriously Wounded In Englewood

CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot multiple times and seriously wounded Wednesday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 7:15 p.m. in the 5900 block of South Normal Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said.

The man, 40, was taken in serious condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, O’Brien said.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
