Five Critically Hurt In South Side Crash

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Five people, including at least one child, were critically injured in a Fuller Park neighborhood crash Thursday evening on the South Side.

Emergency crews responded about 5:10 p.m. to a car accident at South Wells and West 59th streets, according to Fire Media Affairs.

Five people were hospitalized in critical condition, the fire department said. Three people were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County and University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital.
