Missing Elderly Woman With Dementia Might Be With Son

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (CBS) -- Schaumburg Police are looking for an elderly woman who disappeared yesterday from a health care facility.

Police say 76-year-old Agripina Resendiz suffers from dementia and is under the guardianship of the state of Illinois - and has been at a health care facility since June.

Schaumburg Police Sergeant John Nebl says Resendiz' son Armando was visiting her yesterday - and about 8 o'clock last night the health care facility discovered she was missing - possibly with her son.

"He's been classified as homeless. We really don't have anything to confirm that, other than anecdotal information that he stays at various hotels throughout the northwest suburbs."

Sergeant Nebl says Armando Resendiz has a green 1995 Ford Explorer.
