CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.
The shooting happened a few minutes after 4 p.m. in the 6400 block of South King Drive, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said.
The shooter fled on foot after shooting the 18-year-old man in the leg, O’Brien said.
The man was taken in “stable” condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
