Body Found In Englewood Garbage Can
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A body was found in a garbage can Monday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.
Streets & Sanitation Dept. workers discovered the body at 10 a.m. in an alley in the 700 block of West 61st Street, police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed the death of an unidentified male, but had no further details.
The body was found only a block away from one of the Chicago Public Schools' Safe Passage Routes, about four blocks from Nicholson Technology Academy at 6006 S. Peoria St.
