Anti-War Demonstrators Gather On Michigan Avenue

CHICAGO (CBS) — About 100 people staged a protest today on North Michigan Avenue over the possibility of military action against Syria reports WBBM’s Mike Krauser.

One demonstrator from Syria held a sign saying, “Obama should lose his Nobel Peace Prize.”

“I mean I have to fear for the Syrian people. They don’t deserve to be bombed. They have done nothing wrong. They are not a threat to the United States,” said John Beacham of the Answer Coalition.

Many, if not all of the protesters, are not convinced the Assad regime is guilty of using chemical weapons.
