(CBS) — The Green Bay Packers have cut quarterback Vince Young from their roster, leaving B.J. Coleman as the only backup to Aaron Rodgers.
Young, 30, did not play in the 2012 season after being cut by the Buffalo Bills. He was drafted with the third overall pick in 2006 by the Tennessee Titans.
On Twitter, Young thanked the Packers for the opportunity.
