CHICAGO (CBS) — A Labor Day weekend party takes a deadly turn, ending with a Cicero man accused of murder.
20-year-old Vidal Martinez has been charged in the shooting three people early Saturday morning.
Police say Martinez fought with people at the party in the 3800 block of Halsted. He then opened fire, hitting three victims.
One man died at the scene and another remains in critical condition with a gunshot to the head. The third victim was treated and released.
Martinez was ordered held on $2 million bond, the Sun-Times Media Wire reported.
