Police: Male Shot Dead In Woodlawn
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A male was killed in a Monday afternoon shooting in the Woodlawn neighborhood, police said.
The male was shot about 2:10 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Rhodes Avenue, according to Fire Media Affairs. His age was not immediately known.
Paramedics took the person to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, the fire department said. Police said h was shot in the head and later died at the hospital.
Area Central detecitves are investigating.
