CHICAGO (STMW) – Two teenage boys were shot while sitting on a porch on the South Side Wednesday evening.
The boys, ages 15 and 16, were sitting on the porch in the 5100 block of South Calumet Avenue about 7:45 p.m. when someone on a bicycle rode by and started shooting, police said.
The older teen was shot in the lower back and taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in serious condition, police said. The younger boy suffered a graze wound to the right wrist.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
